Worship Service

Abbott is a community of everyday people who gather to worship God, celebrate the Good News of Jesus Christ, and encourage one another to grow in faith

Our worship service includes prayer, Scripture reading, singing, and a message from the Bible. Each week, we gather to grow together and remind ourselves of God’s grace and truth

Welcome to Abbott Church! We’re glad you’re considering visiting and hope this information helps you know what to expect

Our worship gatherings are friendly and family-oriented. Each service begins with a welcome and announcements, followed by singing, prayer, and a message from the Bible. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper (communion) every Sunday and close with a final song and blessing

Our service typically lasts about 75 minutes

Once a month we host a fellowship luncheon after the service in the fellowship hall behind the chapel. It’s a great opportunity to meet others and connect with the Abbott community

Atmosphere

We want you to feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Our goal is to create a warm and relaxed environment where people can come as they are and worship together.

Our music includes a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs. Songs are all centered on biblical truth and the message of the Gospel.

Families Welcome

Families are important in our church. Children are always welcome in worship

During the service we include a children’s message, and we provide a family room for parents who may need a quiet place to step out with infants or young children. The room includes comfortable seating, a changing table, and a livestream of the service so families can continue participating while caring for their children
