Discipleship/Mentoring

Mentoring is a meaningful way to grow in your faith and deepen your relationship with the Lord. In the Christian faith, mentoring is often called discipleship which is walking alongside someone as you learn and grow in your faith together. At Abbott, we would love to connect you with Pastor Chris or another church leader so you can begin your journey of growing in faith and understanding God’s Word. This includes weekly readings, personal Bible study, and meeting twice a month to reflect on Scripture and what you are learning.

Interested in membership?

The Bible clearly states that Christians are called to be members of a local church. Church membership provides protection, encouragement, and accountability for each member. We’d love for you to consider joining our church family!

If you want to join Abbott Church or learn more about us, start by attending our Membership Discovery Class. You will have the opportunity to learn about Abbott’s beliefs, structure, and various areas of ministry. After completing the Discovery class, you will be able to introduce yourself to Abbott through our Prospective Member Introduction and meet with a pastor and possibly a church member for an interview. The process concludes with new members being presented to the church family
